5. Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney have certainly been Manchester United’s best thing this year. Together they have totaled 21 goals of their teams 43. Rooney has nine assists on top of that and Robin Van Persie has two assists. Both have terrific shots from outside and both can connect and play with their midfield very well. If they receive the right support from their teammates, there are few teams that are defensively strong enough to handle these two.

4. Leonel Messi and Neymar quickly forged an understanding for each other. Neymar was able to set up lots a good opportunities early in the season. Even though this partnership has reached nowhere near their peak, its something all teams need to watch out for. If they are able to turn it on then they can earn their team many championships. Right now they total 21 goals and 16 assists for their team.

3. Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo have been very explosive and efficient. They have 24 goals and 8 assists between the two. With these two playing together and healthy Manchester City was able to surge to the top of the table. Since Aguero has been injured and Negredo has been in poor form as slowed down the goals greatly. Once these too get playing together again could get Manchester City the league championship just based on this explosive pair.

2. Paris Saint-Germains duo have a brilliant mix of technical ability, strength, power, and consistency in finding the back of the net. Cavani is often out in a wider position while Ibrahimovic is playing a central role and is the main goal threat. Between the two, they have 35 goals and nine assists. Ibrahimovic has 22 of the goals and all of the assists so far.

1. Lastly, the most dynamic and dangerous duo, is Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge. Both have been on fire lately. Suarez has more goals than games played and Sturridge has more goals than games started. The two have 41 goals and 14 assists between them and seem unstoppable. Suarez is leading the team right now in both goals and assists. This duo has been the most in form and dangerous pair in Europe.
